The VGTA is the 501c3 non-profit that administers the Virginia Green Travel certification and works to promote sustainable tourism practices statewide.
VTC promotes the Virginia Green Travel program and markets it directly to the public. At VirginiaGreenTravel.org, VTC encourages visitors to Virginia to “plan their green vacations” by searching for Virginia Green-certified places to stay, eat and visit.
VDEQ provides technical assistance to the industry, develops guidance on green practices and innovative techniques and oversees the certification program.
VRLTA is the industry trade association and helps for promote the program to its membership.
Virginia State Parks is our newest core marketing partner working to certify all its 43 parks statewide and co-brand with the Virginia Green program.
