The Virginia Green Travel Alliance (VGTA) is the 501c3 non-profit organization that works to expand the outreach efforts of the state’s Virginia Green program and sustainable tourism efforts statewide. We are actively engaged in:
- Educating Virginia’s tourism industry through the Virginia Green Travel Certification program.
- Promoting our certified Virginia Green Travel partners to the public.
- Supporting environmental initiatives and policies that help to make Virginia and its tourism industry more sustainable!
How to join and support the Virginia Green Travel Alliance?
- Businesses can become a Certified Virginia Green Travel Partner. By documenting your business’s environmental commitments and practices, facilities can become certified and automatically become members of the Virginia Green Travel Alliance.
- Become a Virginia Green Supplier (Virginia Green Suppliers Network — Virginia Green)
- Join as a Virginia Green Supporting Organization by making a financial donation to support our educational programs and efforts.
- Individuals can join by:
- becoming a Virginia Green Travel Champion.
- Making a donation to support the VGTA
